Broady Champs - Circle of Winners

Broady is scheduled to release their latest project"Broady International",a reggae,hip hop infused mash up produced by Lex Boogie from the Bronx. This "Circle of Winners" track and video has a different feel than the Broady International Project, but this is just a likkle something to hold you down.
The Internets have been waiting for that raw,grilchy,aggressive energy that the Champs bring for a minute now. Diamond D @ A3C 2010 ATL

The A3C this year was definitly ann event to be remembered. This particular clip is from the 45 battle Evil Dee vs Diamond D vs Rhettmatic vs Apple Jac. Diamond D smashed everything when he broke out the doubles. The energy in the whole building was nostalgic.

Vibe Magazine Ignite 2010: “From The Block To The Blogs”

Before the BET Hip-Hop Awards Weekend in Atlanta, Vibe Magazine held its “From The Block To The Blogs” event on Friday at the W Downtown. Esteemed Journalist, hip-hop historians, rappers, digital media strategist and ivy league intellectuals came together for a one of a kind dialogue. The topic of discussion range from engaging our youth to vote, the influence of social media to the role of corporate investment in our community and government regulation of the internet. Internet Neutrality was the hot topic of the day and everyone agreed it would not be in the best interest for corporation to be given more control over internet access.
X-Clan member Paradise Gray spoke exclusively with Rasha Entertainment about what he felt were pertinent issues that need to be address in our community. Paradise is a community organizer and Hip-Hop historian as well as founding member of The Black Watch Movement.

2010 YGEA AWARDS RECAP

The 4th Annual YGEA Awards took place on Saturday, September 25 at Morehouse College. The YGEA Awards staff would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event. “We were up against many odds but at the end we had an overall good show states Executive Producer, Silveree Benson.
The performers for this year were: Cristyle, Gloss da Boss, Tavaria, June Fifth, Muffy ft Cartier, Ebony Love, William Myles & YPOP, W.H.A.T.T., Righetous Noize, ATL Bomb Squad, Yung Tone, Ray Rush, Blue Dynasty Step Team, and Comedian Small Fire. The hosts for the night were Kash Howard and Hustle Simmons along with announcer DJ Dex.
The winners for the major categories presented were: DJ Trauma, Mainstream Mixtape DJ; Drumma Boy, Mainstream Producer; Cristyle, Songwriter of the Year; Hip Hop Blog, Urban Blog Site; Rahiem Shabazz, Video Director; Hip Hop Weekly, Urban Magazine; Danielle Canada, Hip Hop Writer; Prince Williams, Event Photographer; Kim Maxwell, Fashion Stylist, and Nicole Garner, Go Getta of the Year.
