DJ Hero?

Yo just when I thought it was safe... When the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 came out I can't say I wasn't impressed, but I didn't feel the need to spend over $300 on a game console. Now they hit me with this. What am I supposed to do, not buy it?

Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of...Masta Ace

We find ourselves once again, smack dab in the middle of the sometimes daily installment of, Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of. On this day, Multimanthaskipso, found a jewel of a video from a emcee that is a original juice crew member. Straight from B.K. its the classical rhyme entity known as Masta Ace. Multimanthaskipso stated this, "What makes this song so fly is that its from a little known album called Port Authority by Canada's own producing wiz, Marco Polo. The whole album is banging...Support that raw ish yall....The name of the song is Nostalgia featuring Masta Ace....

Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of...Coney Island..Stand Up Part 2

Part 2 of the Torae and Marco Polo video............DANGER!!!!

Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of...Coney Island..Stand Up

Another great edition of Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of..With this one I can front and take all the credit for myself, I learned of this emcee from a friend slash producer/emcee. Shout to Sonni, who went to school with this emcee. Okay... Can the small talk..Today's emcee of choice is Coney Islands own, Torae..This emcee has the ruff styling of such acts as M.O.P. and multiple syllable wordplay as Kool G Rap..Combine this with Toronto native Marco Polo on the beats and you get the album, Double Barrel...peep the video teasers and offical video for Party Crashers...I will never see Coney Island the same again..Peace

Guess Who's Getting a Relaxer?

Thanks Media Take Out

The Making Of Cuban Linx 2

HipHopOfficial.com caught up with the Chef Raekwon to discover what it took to make “Only Built For Cuban Linx 2″. A lot of preparation and details were put into making this album. Its been almost 15 years since the release of the now classic Only Built For Cuban Linx.

Rae release is days away, as well as Jay-Z. I was privy to hear a few cuts off Hova album and was not impressed. I was also privy to attend Raekwon’s listen party to hear all the lyrical darts woven into the fabric of Scam Jones, Premiere, RZA and a few others beats. I have to admit Rae has a much better album then Jay-Z, but I doubt if the record sell will reflect that due to the fact that a lot of music fans buy into names and hype. With that said, I leave you with this video.

Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of..1st installment (Kool Keith) a double dose

Here is another Kool Keith jawn..for the Emcee's U Should Have Heard of installment....

Emcee's U Should Have Heard Of..1st installment (Kool Keith)

Here at OMGP WTF, Multimanthaskipso has decided after much request of the fans of the blog, to start providing a daily dose of emcee exposure that represent hiphop in its rawest form. Multi had this to say, " Yo the emcee's that I post on the blog have not paid me any money to do this, so I'm doing this so that the raw hiphop ish can get its proper shine on". With this been said he returned to the basement and started going through his mountain of cd's,records and mp3's. The first artist he brings us today is a throw back if u will and original emcee in all regards. Keith Matthew Thornton, better known by his stage name Kool Keith, is an abstract rapper from the Bronx. A founding member of Ultramagnetic MCs, Kool Keith has also recorded extensively both as a solo artist and under multiple aliases. In the words of Multi, "I had to start with this guy, he's the best ever.

Multi's fav single of the day oldie but goodie(Phat Kat and Elzhi)

So today is another day that I was chilling and in the now infamous cd bin of mines going through my millions of cd's. I found another Detroit emcee that I have been up on since the early 2000's, circa 2001-2002. Phat Kat is his name, a rough voiced emcee with a ambitious delivery to got with the ill motor city producers. This particular video I found features Elzhi of Slum Village also one of my favorite emcees. Elzhi kills every track that he gets on, and on this one he does what he does best. The name of the song is "Cold Steel"
