The DeBarges are a family of musicians who's pleasant looks and wonderful talents took us by storm in the 80's.First came older brothers Bobby and Tommy who were in a group called Switch who was signed to Motown. Next four of the younger siblings Bunny, Mark, Randy and El were signed to Motown as well and were later joined by James who was 17 at the time. In the mid 80's Motown introduced us to yet another DeBarge... Chico. After dropping his first two albus "Chico DeBarge"(1986) and "Kiss Serious"(1988) we didn't hear from Chico for a long time. Then there was the Chico that most of my readers come to love in 1997 "Long Time No Here" followed by "The Game"(1999) and "Free"(2003). So while working on Chico's most recent album Addiction was released July 14, 2009 I was more than happy when the folks over at Kedar Entertainment Group asked me to produce a new track for the R&B Legend. I did the track and called on Universal Motowns own Da Backwudz (Sho Nuff and Big Mark aka Aleon Craft) who happen to be personal friends of mine to bless the track with that Southern Hip Hop Feel.
