Tax Evasion? Method Man? WTF

When news broke that Method Man was arrested for tax evasion, I said to myself, “how could that be, when he always seems to keep himself relevant with shows, movies and personal appearances”. A lot of celebrities are affected by the downward turn in the economy. I was just a bit surprise to see, Method Man to join this growing list.

0/5/09 : WABC in NEW YORK REPORTS : Method Man The 38-year old artist, whose real name is Clifford Smith, surrendered to authorities for failing to pay taxes for four years, according to prosecutors. He will be arraigned later today. According to the D.A.’s office, Smith owes $32,799 in taxes, a total that does not include fees or penalties.

Reports are they Repossessed his 2008 Lincoln Navigator back in March 09. see original story here. Hopefully they let him work out a payment plan and just keep it moving.. we all go thru struggles wish you the best METH.
